Storm Vulcan 15 Bearing Suggestions
The typical rotating weight is probably about an 80 lbs crankshaft the face plates and balance weights are maybe 60 lbs, total 140 lbs. The machine should be able to rotating weights to a total of maybe 200-250 lbs. My manual only describes the bearings with part number 156-14. What do you think?

I would use a 6" surface grinder wheel on the tool post grinder. I would have to make a spacer for the wheel to mount on the grinder and run it at the correct rpm but it would be the safer way to do it. Also, I would have to grind a radius on both sides of the wheel face to grind the radius on the crank journal.

Seeking help from experienced Crankshaft Grinders
Indicate where the grinding wheel is contacting the work and then indicate 180 degrees from point of grind. See if the readings compare. If you have nearly zero at the point of grind and the full .0005 at 180 degrees, I would look for something pushing the spindle shaft and or a bent spindle.

Grinding sides of crankshaft counterweights
Crank wheels are not made to grind on the sides, even touching up the thrust surfaces is a pain in the ass. You have to keep the side of the wheel dressed with a diamond or you'll burn the surface and introduce taper to the thrust faces. Grinding the side of the wheel straight is VERY time consuming.
